wanting to move to Australia

Hi everyone,

My family and I (42 yrs) would love to live and work in Australia, but don't really know the best way around it. My husband (42) is registered disabled in the UK, I am an Office Manager, I do have a great Aunt and extended family already living in Australia, we have a daughter 13 and Son 18 in his 3rd year Electrical Apprenticeship. Where do we start.

thank you

looks like your case may be a bit more complicated than most, so why not have a chat to one of the migration agents. Can't recommend any, but do a quick Advanced Search with Agent in the title and see what you get. Lots of free (initially!) advice available from professionals.

Hi and welcome to PIO.

I would say to ring a couple of agents and take advantage of the free advice many of them offer.

There is a couple of agents that come on here and they may be able to advise you also.

Your case may not be as straight forward because of your husbands condition, but thats not to say he will be refused many people get their visas with medical conditions.

I researched loads before we applied and I got so confused I had to stop and get info from the horses mouth as soon as you get the info you need you feel a little less over whelmed.

There are many agents who are recommended on here.

Overseas Emigration
Visa bureau
Go Matilda

To name a few of the top of my head i'm sure I have heard say they all offer initial free consultation

Best wishes

Kaye

welcome.... have a look on the DIMA web site (Department of Immigration and multiculrural affairs), this will show you possible visa options and also have a look at the MODL list (Migration Occupaion in Demand List.) You may be on he occupation in demand list. Good Luck!
