Hi sorry new to this site so not really sure what we are doing!!

claire, des, dani 12, jack 10, and olivia 7, moving to Ipswich, Brisbane in oct 08, would love to hear from anyone about Ipswich/ or just about relocation to Oz. Scary times ahead but what an opportunity x

I have to agree, it is definitely a very daunting experience. We have just got our visas and the actual moving process is looking like a mamoth task.

There seem to be plenty of blogs going up now though and maybe they will make useful reading for the move.

Hi & Welcome to PIO!

We heading for the Gold Coast (prob. Pacific Pines) hopefully UK summertime next year. My kids are about the same ages as yours, although I've only got 2! They're both girls Robyn 10 & Lauren 13. Lauren's really looking forward to it, and Robyn has finally come round to the idea! Her main concern is leaving her friends behind.
So how far have you got with the whole process? The waiting is a nightmare!! I'm just waiting for my skills assessment to come back so I can send off my visa application....it's done online, ready and waiting for the skills assessment info!
