my sis and her hubby went on a temp sponsored visa in 2004, they got thier permanent visas in May this year, it can go very quick, sounds like your medicals police checks may be all that they are waiting for, there still seems to be about a 5 week delay on medicals and as has been said police checks take about 40 days.

Welcome to PIO, we will be going out on a 457 when it happens and we did have a visa lodged last year with a company sponsor and i didnt need to do police checks but may be down to job type even though mine is residential support officer so dont know why i didnt need lol cant help with timescale as i have had 3 company let downs so we are taking a back seat for a break but will get there eventually Huge good luck with your application though, if i can help just ask anything, i believe thought that there is a delay on medicals and that there is only Sydney LCU processing every single one one so dont know how long it is delaying them.
