Coming to Oz on a 1 year working visa (hoping to stay much longer but will sort that out when we get there) on 28th November and cannot wait.
No plans yet as of where to settle but will be staying in Sydney for a couple of weeks and then on to Darwin for Christmas.
Just a quick question, what is the relationship like between the Aussies and the Brits?

Hi an welcome to PIO Stu, an good luck with your working holiday so to speak, in reply to your question, according to the guy's from PIO that are already there, you will not find a bad word against them, that being said they do apparently like to rib the pom's, (cos we are rubbish at sport an they aint*) but as long as you take it light heartedly an give back aswell as you can you'll do great.

Yes same as Mr KP Nuts, the Aussies like a bit of banter as long as you can give as good as you get and dont take offence you will be fine.
My cousin from Melbourne as just moved back to Darwin.
