A newbie with questions!

Hi there everyone,

Just signed up with the site and hoping to get some answers to questions that we haven't been able to answer through the immigration sites or randomly Googling :)

My husband and I have just had our visa application subclass 137 acknowledged (yey!) and are now in the queue for a case officer. We have been granted state sponsorship of the Victoria area and are thus in the 'fast track' lane. However, the fast track doesn't really seem to be very fast from what I gather from the auto response email from the Aus immigration site.

I'm just wondering if anyone on this site who was/is in the same boat as us can tell us how long it took them to be assigned a case officer?

Hi Ruby

We are also on a 137 visa with Victoria. We submitted our application at the end of May, received an acknowledgement on the 21st August, front loaded our meds at the beginning of August and are still waiting for the elusive CO or Visa

Thanks for all the encouraging words, guys! It's been a long and frustrating wait and I hope that we don't have too much longer to go. Better get onto those PCs and Medical checks, I suppose.
