We(shell,dave,soph15,jess12) have just sent off our TRA application!!!!!!!!!!we are on our way,fingers crossed.its taken since jan to get it togther,i,m a chef ,dave,s a plasterer.Hope to get some useful info from this site while we wait.

Good luck with the tra! Be warned though this site is quite addictive! You will get loads of info on here so ask any questions you may have as there is usually someone who can help

Hi there mate,
Good to see you've got the guts to come out here.I moved out last year(oct 06) and the one regret i had was not coming over for a visit.If you've already been to Oz before then you know what to expect,i didn't,and was just a bit dissapointed with the place.If you have the time and money get over for a visit just to make sure you think it's the right place for you.

Hi We are in the process of compiling our tra it seems to take forever, my oh is a chef. We have done the training ref part just need to do the rest of the references now. Hopefully in a couple of weeks we can get it sent off. Where about are you hoping to move to? We are aiming for Brisbane, I can't wait. All I seem to do is spend ttime on the computer at the moment and most of that is on here, it really does get addictive. keep us informed how you get on with your tra good luck

Thanks for reply and good luck with yourTRA paperwork.(ours took 10 months if i knew then what i know now i would of stayed in the same job for my working career.)still hopefully it will all be worth it in the end.We are hoping to go to western aus??everybody right about it being addictive i,m at work at the mo.
