Hiya have a browse on the transport section of the site as you will find lots of help there from similar questions. We thought of bringing the car and bikes but it worked out too expensive so we sold up and bought again once here,,hope this helps you a little

Have a look at this website which explains the process really well. Not sure if they ship bikes though?

Car shipping by Karman Shipping Ltd.

Hi Paul
I imported an on road and an off road, best to contact via Vimports@dotars.com.au, you must have approval from Vimports, along with all the appropriate paperwork, and you can only bring 1 bike, you must prove you have licence for the road bike you are importing, the whole process is long and involved and our household contents in the container in th UK were held up until we had approvals, then when it gets here you have to pay for an Ausssie valuation and then GST (10% of value), what sort of bike have you got? unless it is an old bike, values here are roughly the same as UK, unless it is old or you have a particular attatchment to it I would advise you sell before you come and get one out here!!!!
