I JOINED A FEW DAYS AGO AND I HAVE FOUND THIS SITE VERY INTERESTING AND HOPEFULLY I AM LEARNING HOW TO POST SO FINGERS CROSSED THIS GOES IN THE RIGHT PLACE.......
WELL WE HAVE APPLIED TO EMIGRATE TO AUSTRALIA AND WE ARE GOING FOR MEDICALS NEXT MONTH.
WE ARE ALL VERY EXCITED AND READING WHAT EVERYONE HAS PUT ON HERE HAS HELPED WITH THINGS THAT YOU DONT THINK OF.

Congratulations & Welcome to PIO! Seems like most of the hard work is done for you all? When did you start the process & what Visa are you going on & where do you hope to settle - not that we are nosy or anything here!

We're from the SDevon but living in Northumberland & hope to be moving to Tassie on a 136 Skilled Independent. We have an Agent $$$£***###££!!! And started the process back in Feb, they initially acknowledged our application back in June & said it should take 6 weeks for Case Officer to be appointed - then all hell broke loose with everyone suddenly realizing that applications needed to be in by end of August before rules changed!!! So didn't rec Official Acknowledgment till Sept 5th, when told it could be Xmas before we even have a CO!!! So it pays to be patient, which we are, (kind of) cos it's only the 2 of us!
