ANY ODP's out there

Hi new to site, just putting 2 years of thought into action.
My hubby's an operating Department Pactitioner for private health care has also 10 years in NHS.
Cant seem to find him in sought after jobs in Australia? Are they called something different?
Is there any one in this profession moved out to Aus or in process are they sought after like the Rn's, nurses etc.

Any help or knowledge would be great

thank you

Hi and Welcome, I'm not sure about your OH's job either - has he got a nursing qualification? If so he could apply for the visa via that route.

ODPs in OZ

hi there, G'day saw your message, as an ODP who has worked in OZ. the role is only in anaesthetics, and we are referred to as anaesthetic technicians. depending on what state you're in also depends on which hospitals you can work in public or private. good luck
