I just found this website as well. We are from the UK, from a town called Blackburn in Lancashire. We also live at Redland Bay! My husbands sister lived in Cumbria for a while and is now in Sunderland!

Hi Redland bay is in south East Queensland and is really nice. Townsville is really hot in the summer so if you like the heat you may be okay there, but I mean really hot, not like the UK.
It is an up and coming part of Bayside and we are near the water which is fab.
Redland Bay is lovely we love it.
Right by the water suits us fine lol.
We find the aussies very friendly, and making friends easy too.
Just wanna wish you all good luck with the move over!
