Hiya,
We had ours in M/cr,Dr Million...Don't worry its nothing scary at all. Weight, height check. Undress to your underwear, quick test of reflexes, blood pressure check, looked in ears & down throat. Had blood taken for HIV test, Heps (if you've got piercings or tattoos b4 1995). Hardest bit was parting with £400! we had chest x-rays for us 2 adults which cost £55 each. altogether it took approx an hour for 2 adults & 2 kids. Kids meds were even easier, height, weight, look in ears down throat & then were fed sweets!! No sight test, touching of toes or anything scary or intrusive. We got our visa granted Wed!!!

Hi Sucky
thanks for reply and well done on your visa's you must be so happy!!!!!!
Feels like its taking forever but I am sure most people feel the same.Just another question,do they ask for records from GP? Just want things to go quick.
Thanks again

I'm so glad I read this thread. We have our medicals with Dr Million on Tuesday and was beginning to worry. Prices have gone up slightly, I'm sure it's costing us about £540 for 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 8&9) !!

Good luck Annie from Joanne

We used Dr Million at manchester too ,simply because it was the nearest and everything is done under one roof.If you are paying by cheque make sure you take two as we had to pay for meds and x-rays seperate.Nothing was too scarey or invasive and we were in and out in an hour and half, hope this helps reasure anyone waiting,
Cal x

Hi Mia,
the address on our list is 11 St John Street. We are waiting for a case officer too.Anyone know the usual waiting time after file no given?
Also I have now got something else to worry about.OH had a fine and short driving ban for having no insurance on a bike 20 years ago. However we were told by the police that it wont't be on record after 10 years but I have read some posts on here saying thats not always right. We didn't declare on application and now I am terrified!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone reasure me.
