My Husband was banned from driving 15 years ago for drink driving, We have just had our police checks back and it didint mention it.
The police check is if you have any convictions or prosecutions, So basically if you havent been to prison you are ok?

thanks so much I have been worrying myself stupid.When are you going for your meds?Are you going to Manchester and how long have you been waiting for a CO there seems to be no pattern of how they are allocated.

I sent off my application to DIAC on the 17th July, At the moment i havent even recieved my acknowlegement, As soon as i do i will get my medicals done in manchester.
I ahve got my police checks back last week which took 42 days so im glad ive got them back and there clear.

the waiting is so hard but they say no news is good news!At least you are ovr one hurdle with PC checks.Its just a case of so many applications and not enough staff to process them
Maybe we should volunteer to work for the immigration HAHA.
