houses not selling

we all know houses are not moving at the minute, my house is priced at 330.000, i have dumped it to 285.000 and now im getting views every night. I now have 2 people who want it but haven't sold their own but i changed agents it made a big difference. Anyone look on rightmove at my house at le193ps and look at the difference a new agent can do so i say to you all take a leaf out of my book do your house out nice put it on the market early and price to sell you may even be able to use my agent if its going on rightmove. I've got another lady round tonight . she is in rented p.s lets get out of this sh1t hole

I know the feeling our house has been on the market for 9 months now and only had 3 viewings in all that time

Well how annoying is this!! - we sold ours in 3 weeks, got a good price , took it off the market on the advice of the agents, arranged solicitors etc etc RTHEN after 4 weeks they've decided they can't afford the financial commitment!! SO we've lost out on 4 weeks of valuable viewing time!! ARhhhh!!
Can you tell i'm still a bit peed off??

Hi Michele
Bless you! Our house has been on for just under 3 weeks now and we've had 16 viewings and no firm offers. I am a bit fed up as well. I just wonder about some buyers and am sure they come and view just to be nosey! Chin up and lets hope our luck changes soon

know the feeling, we put our house up for sale in the start of July as a house near us was sold within 2 weeks in June and went for £40,000 more than the asking price. Only had 4 viewers in all, with only 1 person who has there house up for sale! It is really annoying showing people around your house and when you finish they tell you their house isnt up for sale yet that they are just looking!!

Hi,

We have just put ours on the market know its a bit slow. We are letting our agent show potential viewers around for no extra cost as it can be disheartening when you get people in looking for a cheap day out !!! Good luck

Steve

hello

sounds like a nightmare. I used to do conveyancing but am now on maternity leave. Tell your agents that you only want people viewing who are on the market or have finance agreed in principal. You may get less viewings but at least they will be genuine. Also it attracts people who already have a buyer and need to find somewhere before there chain falls through (they should mess you around too much with the asking price).

Will be going thruogh the same thing myself soon.

Best of luck

Nancy x

I had trouble with waste of time viewings a few years ago so i said to the agent not to send anyone from 'rent-a-crowd' he laughed but knew full well what i ment.
