Post hello - we're new
hello all, my OH has been offered a job working on the railway in Melbourne and has accepted! The whole process will only take a few months as he is sponsored by the company but it is all going through so quick which is exciting, but soooooo scary!
This site is fab for info so pleased we found it. We dont have any friends or family there and have never been, but if we don't go now we never will.

Hi and Welcome!!!

We too are off to Melbourne - in 7 weeks and 3 days. We, like you have never been and have no family or friends down there, but I'm sure it will all work out just fine. Bit worried about the goodbyes next month!! Have 3 children aged 14, 12 and 8 - - they have been really excited but are now on an emotional down as the realisation hits home. PM me if you want to compare notes.
