Hello, we are the same..........never been/no family there. My sister and husband and two little boys are applying like us though, so at least we'll have family with us. We are heading for Mornington aswell. Sometimes in life you just have to go with your gut instincts and be brave knowing that everything will be fine in the end (that's what I keep telling myself anyway - and my husband). We can't all be crazy though can we?

Hi Tracy, Sometimes i think we really could all be mad, but do we care that is the Q. I don't think we do. If we don't try i will spend my life wondering what would have happened. Atleast you ahve some support through family. My family wouldn't even contemplate it. Although it's tricky with split and 2nd marriages and you have to take the kids away from a parent. Luckily we don't have that problem and i don't care if they won't come with me, i'm going YEAH!!

Goodness knows how you managed to get this far without PIO. I know we couldn't have got the TRA applic off without this site.......I suppose we may have been able to with an agent to answer my many many questions. I think you've chosen the perfect destination, we can't wait to see it there. A friend went recently to the Mornington Peninsular, and she said it is so much more beautiful than she imagined ( she's emigrating there aswell).
I'm glad we don't have the problem with other parents.........all our children are 100% our own making! Although my husband says they're more his cause he put more effort in, only joking!!
Anyway, good luck with the next stage.
