Fantastic News Rache! Now I can uncross my fingers and toesses - have to say twas getting a bit difficult to do some things hehe!!

Shelley, we know exactly how you felt, my OH said that was gonna be the toughest bit and he was soooo right! It really does make you feel like your dream is slipping away. You may well be right about dropping to under the 250k stamp duty threshold. We ended up dropping loads in the end, just hope we can recoup some of it whilst living with inlaws.

Thats great news Rache

Things seem to be looking up for us too. We had a viewing yesterday, although not through the agent, just someone we vaguely know (they loved the house - stayed for 45 minutes and left clutching a brochure) and one lined up for Sunday.

Good luck with finding a rental. Overcoming one hurdle always leads to another eh?

Hi we sold our house within 3 weeks, was over the moon cos they weren't in a hurry to move in. Agents advised us to withdraw it from the market as it was sale agreed.
Guess what- they've only gone & bloody well pulled out!! I'm gutted as now I'm gonna have to clean the place up again!! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

Thats a real bummer Michele.

God its so frustrating. What reason did they give?? Not that it matters - people seem to think that they can do what they bliddy well want never mind that its someone's life they're messing up.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get it back on the market. If its sold once it'll sell again. Fingers, toes and eyes crossed for you.

Michele,

We were in a similar position. We eventually (after 5 weeks of nonsense from estate agents) decided last Friday to put our house back on the market. Last night we got a full asking price offer from a couple who don't have a chain and we have accepted.

Hopefully we can all get excited again about our trip to OZ.:)

The house sale was more stressful than the visa application!! (imo). Hang in there and good luck to everyone else.

Love the house but it is too small for the 4 of them

Another hour of our lifes wasted

Well here's hoping for a better result Sunday.

Oh the stress of it all

Neil & Trace, you just need that one person to walk through the door, and they will

Michelle - this is what I dread could happen to us. So I will not say 'we've sold the house'. Oh no What I am saying is: we've accepted an offer on the house. Big difference.

Keep hanging in there guys. It's got to be worth it in the end.
