Hi!

As you might have guessed I'm Tom.

I am currently rushing to finish my TRA application before the system changes at the end of the month.

I'm an electrician by the way - it's high on the MODL list so no probs (fingers crossed)

I'm doing this alone (without an agent) as they are the biggest rip off in the world as many of you will have already found out!!!

I look forward to quizzing you all about getting down under!

As Far As I Know Its The Visa Application You Have To Have In Before The End Of The Month To Avoid The Changes On 1st Sept

I noticed you wre in the chat room just now. That is really busy on Friday nights. Lay in a few jars of your favourite tipple and head for the Caht at about 9pm tomorrow evening, I would suggest. LOADS goes on ad it is fast-moving plus great fun.

Keilly - Your signature says TRA refused you due to lack of info - do you think this was fair?

How much info did they want?

I've got a big folder full of my various certificates (certified copies) and references - not to mention the form itself (and $300)

Have to say in defence of agents mine was worth their weight in gold and definitely not a rip off, sorry to disappoint :)

Mine has been great too. Wouldn't have known where to start without her. I do know that there are some horror stories out there though.

Hi Tom Our Tra Was Returned As They Wanted More Info On How I Was Trained On The Job .as A Drainer /when And By Whom.as You Dont Sit An Apprenticeship For Drainer .
We Are Uising An Agent ,im A Bit pi@@ed Of At Them As I Would Have Thought They Would Have Known This It Cost Us Another 300 Aud To Resubmit.
Any Way Hopefully We Will Find Out This Week If Its Been Succsesful

I'm an ex- Leeds'er , from Pudsey originally.

Now living in Adelaide.
Been here seven years now and really settled.
I visited back to Leeds last years due to family illness,couldn't wait to get back HOME.

Agents do have their uses if you are not sure if you can gain the visa but they can be expensive.
