Hiya, not too far from you, live in March, Cambridgeshie but used to live in Lincoln a few years ago and still have a few friends there. How far have you got with the process of emmigrating and where you planning on heading to?

Hi gilly88, we are from Swineshead, a village 7 miles from Boston, in the process of waiting for my sons and my passport to come back, then the visa will be off.

We're not far from Becky, in Boston.

Hopefully off to Melbourne June 2008. Fingers, legs, everything crossed. We're going on Student Visa.

Dont live there now but born and bred in S****horpe, N lincs dont get back there much my only remaining relative near by is in Beverley.

we are heading to Cairns, hope to be there in january next year.

We have family in Atwell, Perth. We were over for Xmas and New Year. Never thought I would be trying to emigrate to OZ. Dave (hubby) has been offered a job and the company are applying for a Business Sponsorship 457 Visa. We have got buyers for our house, but they haven't got buyers yet - fingers crossed they sell very soon, things are getting very slow with the housing market over here - people are really panicking that prices are going to drop more and more.

How long have you been in WA? I guess you really love it there.

If things go well for us we hope to be there before our son Michael (likes to be called Mikey) starts year 11 in January 2009.

We are in Horncastle. Have been here nearly 7 years. Originally from Kent.

We have been so happy up here, it's a lovely place. But like most people I guess who are looking to emigrate to OZ - it's for a better life. Can't beat nice weather, a country that is booming and seems to be on the up whereas very sadly England just isn't what it used to be - the government are nuts!
