Hi everyone, we are Norry & Leigh, at present we both live in Glasgow, we are both nurses and hope to be in Melbourne by November. We are both being sponsored by the Alfred hospital and cant wait to get over to Oz!
We were in Melbourne last year and whilst out for a stroll near our hotel came across The Alfred. I'm a nurse and was very impressed from the outside, it looked more like a hotel than a hospital.
We are planning our new lives in Melbourne too. We are looking st somewhere around The Mornington Peninsula. But are open to suggestions and are going back in March it check it out a bit more.

Well some of us definately need you on here, what field are you in, would it be mental, cos you could stay no here and make a fortune, this is sure enough the nuttiest place full of nutter's that will give advice on just about anything to do with OZ that you were afraid to ask.

we are also moving to Melbourne (hopefully around Dec/Jan). We are also both nurses and have been sponsored with Epworth Healthcare at Richmond. Coincidently we are both Scottish (huuby west coast and myself an Edinburgh lass). Have you decided on any particular suburb/area in Melbourne yet. Would love to hear back as we seem to have a bit in common. I CCU trained, and husband respiratory/general medical.
Hi Norry and Leigh. Welcome. We too are Scots going to Victoria. Land in Melbourne October 28th - yippeeee. Glad to hear that if we ever get poorly, there will be a welcome from a local accent!!
