Prince of Wales Private Hospital

Hey Guys! Hope everyone is well. I am just had an interview with POWP Hospital and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. I would be moving to Sydney for two years, am a 22 female and want to know about the hospital, the area and social aspect of moving there any advise would be appreciated!!

Talia, No personal experience - have you done a search for the hospital - they all usually have a website. Also why not email you're manager and ask if they could give your email to someone of a similar age or someone whose already made the move, that way you'll know someone when you get there and have a lot of your questions answered in the process

My daughter just worked in the main hospital there briefly as a dietitian, and I went with her in May to have a look at it. Don't know if this is a different hospital from the private one, though. The one I saw was part of a trust and was next to the children's hospital. There is a web-site devoted to the trust, because I checked it out. Nice area, Lucy found everyone pleasant, very professional if somewhat overworked (what's new there?). I'd imagine there might be other Brits around as it's a big complex. Also, Sydney is full of expats in their 20s and 30s, so shouldn't be impossible to make friends. What sort of job have you been offered?
