WelcomeIf you are new to Poms In Oz and migrating to Australia or currently living in Australia feel free to say hi to all the other either in or moving to Oz.
Hi thought i would introduce ourselves as we have been hovering around so long, yes addicted already.Been addicted before but we changed our mind about going, seem to have done this on and of for years but now definatly going for it .
Myself hazel, oh martin and jessie are hoping to move to perth but will be leaving behind 2 boys who are going to follow us when they are qualified .the problem we have had is marts 47 years young but a firm has rung him and seem willing to sponsor him for the ens visa i believe this gives us permanent residency anyway an immigration firm is going to call us tomorrow to discuss this . as i am sure others have done this i was just wondering how it all worked out . the other way is to apply through my hairdressing skills but oh would rather have a job to go to .
Thanks for reading feel i am going slighty mad at moment as we havent told anyone yet as we know what reaction we will recieve from the grandparents and friends .

Lynne know loads of sponsorship - I think she's in Sydney at the moment and may not have access to the computer as much as when she's at home, but she'll give you lots of advise

Hi from us newbies too, it doesn t take long to become addicted -my poor children are very bored of seeing me sitting at the computer! We are similar to you in that my husband wants to have job to go to as well so we are looking to the employer sponsered route before having to fall back on my teaching qualifications and going on skilled visa - plus I don't particulary fancy working full time when we arrive, would much rather enjoy the weather!
HI
Thanks to you all for welcoming us .
Just so glad there are other people out there feeling the same way.
Manykids got to agree with you i quite fancy enjoying the sun and lifestyle as us mums are always busy can imagine how busy you are with yours as i never seem to stop with 1.Taxi driver most of the week and shes still only 9 dont expect that will change as im sure there will be plenty she will want to do there .Think i might get a bit bored though if i didnt work as so used to the rushing about .
