Moving to Sydney in Dec with 6 month old baby.

Hi everyone.

I have just found out my husband is being posted to Sydney in December and I am panicking slightly! I just had my first baby 4 weeks ago and suddenly we have to think about moving. I am worried I will be all alone with a baby and no support. Is anyone else living there with a little one? Or are there organisations like NCT I could join to meet other mums in my area? Also, any suggestions for good areas to live in would be great!

I would be so grateful for any advice.

try not to worry, sydney is lovely cant really give any advice on where to live I'v only been there on holiday, although Manley is really nice. we are moving to Melbourne june 08 with 4 children! really scary!

Hi there,
We are moving to Sydney in 3 weeks and I have a 4 year old and a 10 month old.

We are hoping to live in the "Hills" district as my OH will be working outside of Sydney so would be very happy to meet up with you when you arrive. Will your OH be working in the CBD???
