im in Melbourne, i cant put my finger on why it doesnt do it for me, just a number of things i guess, [getting up in the wee small hours for football on tv dont help lol], good to hear you like it though
ha ha yeah I have Fox Sports but total waste of money, Iv'e tried to get up. Sometimes I do and I'm lucky to last the first half and I go back to bed.......not the same without being in the pub with the lads.......
Been to Melbourne, found it too much like England ha ha........went to Brighton, man some of the streets were scary, just like in parts of Luton
I hate the cold as well, which is unusual for a pom, Brisbane is usually hot as, especially now, hit 33 yesterday
Beaches are quite close as well, I just love the way of life, I couldn't return to the UK. As i said I went back for four weeks in August, and I ended up a week of that in Portugal and a week in Paris ha ha.........UK is all doom and gloom now
I love the positive way the Aussies look at things
Barton hills were awesome, great chip shop there as well...........I went to school down the road, Cardinal Newman ha ha happy days
All these "happy memories" of Luton brings it all back..........was that the chip shop on the Bedford Road.
Ex Stockwood myself, played football and rugby against Cardinal Newman many times way back when!!

We are in Dunstable, applied for visas now we have to sit back and wait and wait!! we have booked a 3 week hol in April to check out secret harbour area. Where are you and how you finding it............and i dont suppose you have any children do you!
