I'm from the UK and moved to Sydney 2 months ago to live with my Aussie boyfriend. Just wanted to say hello and join in with the chat. Although I'm loving being here with my fella I'm missing my family and friends a bit and I've not really done much socialising on my own. It'd be good to meet a few people and chat to people who are in/have been in a similar situation. Does anyone have any advice on socialising when you're new to the city? I'd be grateful for any advice or friendly chat!

Try looking at the Socializing & Get together section......... there might be a post on there for a Sydney meet up...... if not put one on to get the ball rolling!
