Hi everyone, we've been lurking on this site for a few weeks now but have finally plucked up the nerve to join! We are Phil, Gill and Harry (8) and we have just submitted our meds to Adelaide and are now waiting to see if they will have us! We are going on a Sub-Class 496 sponsored visa to Victoria. We are looking at Melbourne and (fingers crossed) hope to get over there in early 2008!

we too have just had meds but are also waiting for a more recent police report to come back thru post as somebody told us they would (if granted) give you a year from the earliest date of either meds or police report to activate visa ,

We are looking at the area between Melbourne and Geelong as this gives hubby Phil chance to look for work in both areas, so maybe Point Cook, Sanctuary Lakes and Hoopers Crossing areas although we will wait till we get there and have a look around. My nan used to live in Williamstown (years ago in the 70's). We have got Phil's cousin who is sponsoring us living in Rowville (East Melbourne) and my Aunty and Uncle retired in Adelaide a year ago (and are loving it)! Can't wait.
