Try adding 00 before the 61etc etc....
Thats what my moms mobile number starts with, 006141.........blah blah, she's in Brissie.

Sam is correct, you need the 00 in front. Try phoning through Cheapest Calls on 0871 9998585 , calls to a mobile in Oz are 10p per minute.

As above try this number when calling OZ Moblie 0871 754 9090 its 6p a min or 0844 200 4040 to landlines and 1/2p a min

just put 0061 and drop the first nought of your friends number or +61 and drop the nought
text via skype costs almost nothing
