We are thinking of renting for about 6-12 months so we can look at different area's to buy a house as need to think of schools for Ellie, good housing etc. Can anybody suggest area's for us to look at, we are not bothered about being near to the city as are not really city people! People have said to us the further out you go the better house you get for your money, is this true?

Congrats on getting your Visa, we are going out mid-end August too, we are looking at Pacific Pines which is about 15mins from the Gold Coast and about 40 mins from Brisbane, we have been to Oz a couple of times b4 and love the place. Good luck with everything if you look at

Hi, congratulations on the visa. Brisbane is great. We've only scanned house prices, and yes they are better out of the city, but still quite expensive near the sea north and south of the city. There are plenty estate agent web sites to check out. We are going to the northern Sunshine coast area. Have a good journey.
