hello ,new to site
just like to say hello,recently found pio,
wish we had found it twelve months ago whilst we have been waiting. we have just had our medicals so hopefully we wont be waiting much longer for decesion on 136 visa. some great info on site ,thanks (myself hairdresser,husband cable jointer with our two boys ):):)

We had our medicals 3 weeks ago so are also waiting the big YES.....This site gets addictive.....but is great for any question or information you require.

Where are you looking to go in Aus......

Hi Mark and Lisa,

We are deciding which visa to apply for! How long has the 136 visa taken and have you done it all youself? We are thinking this one would be best for us as it gives us both (my fiance) permanent residency then he can apply for jobs etc. Im a nurse and hopefully wont have a prob getting a job.

Where are you off to? We are planning on Melbourne.

We started the whole process in Sept. applies for TRA in Jan and each stage has taken about 6 weeks.......its taken about 6 months and hopefully we will get Visa ASAP.

We used an agency but there are lots of people doing it themselves

Welcome mark and lisa. Hope you get your visa soon. Charly, it is not too bad doing the visa application yourself, but as well as the visa waiting time, there is also the skills assessment with ANC which i believe is taking some time at the moment. This needs to be done first. good luckaveen
