Hello Everyone,

We live in NSW, Shellharbour. We have been in Oz 13 months? Anybody know the area? New to this I guess we wanted to say Hi. We are from Colchester in Essex, does any one come from there?

Welcome to the site! I've been in NSW 9 months now, we live in Sydney (East Botany) and moved here from Newbury Park, Essex! Is Shellharbour on the South Coast? How do you like living in Oz and how have you settled down?

Shellharbour is about 1hr 20mins from Sydney, South near Kiama if you ahve heard of it! Life has been good I must say, our boys love it here and have settled into school life. We are all sport mad so again we fit in well.
My husband Mick has his days when he wants to go home so do I, we miss loads of things apart from family and friends, we miss the Uk TV, food, pubs, and shopping!! Sad I know but these are things we miss.
How are you finding things, living near Sydney must be exciting, I expect you get out and about!

Have you find a decent indian?

Just a little hi from us too...We have been to Shell Harbour, we were staying with friends in Oak Flats...Also have friends in Albion Park...Shell Harbour is so pretty....We had a great night on the pokies at the big club there....We went at christmas time and it was great to see the carol singers on the beach...

Lovely we had a little holiday in Mooloolaba last year and drove into Brisbane, do like it very much, really nice city and the park in the city is lovely with a beach, it was really good. We are tempted to move there, still want to check out Melbourne!! Some many places to visit this country is soo big!
