Hi anyone in Berwick Victoria now...got any info on what its like

Hi..

Is there anybody that live in BERWICK Victoria or surrounding areas please can you give any positive feed back on what its like?
We are hoping to rent somewhere round that area as Mark is working in Nottinghill.Is there much to do ..as in shops nice places to rent.Ect.
Greatly appreciate your feed back.

Hiya - can't specifically help, sorry - though have been looking around there a little too.

You could ask a moderator to move this to the Talk about Victoria forum though - cos then you might catch someone specifically.

Personally we liked Berwick alot. There is a village feel to the shopping area, with pub and restaurants, a main train line into Melbourne, Fountain Gate shopping centre a short drive away and lovely views of the Dandenongs thereabouts (I think). We like the modern houses and Berwick Springs had some nice properties plus there is new build going up locally. It seems a reasonable distance to get to most places from there by car such as the ocean, Phillip Island & the Dandenongs.

Having said that probably too far from the water for us.

I'm sure others will have far more information and maybe try Britvics too.
