Question RSMS visa

HI
new to pio, so might have missed something. My oh is a printer is and applying for rsms visa (class 857) to ACT. Have had TRA approved, but do not have an official "diploma" in print, does anyone know if would have to apply under exceptional circumstances or is the tra approval enough?

hey the blackcat and welcome. We had our visas granted just under a week ago. I am a printer and I was concerned that I would fail my TRA because I didn't go to college on a day release or anything. I served an in house 4 year apprenticeship (in other words my boss wanted me to produce him some work whilst I learnt.) I only had letters from him and my current firm and like your other half I got TRA approval. We are going over on a 139 family sponsored visa so I dont know if it would be any different for you but since we got our TRA approval nobody has ever mentioned anything to do with my job whatsoever. Infact our agent said I could work in KFC if I want but as long as got my TRA approval I am sorted. I hope this of use to you. Good luck with everything.

The subclass 857 visa is the onshore version of the RSMS => are you in Australia?

An RSMS (or an ENS) visa application isn't one that will have been encountered by too many on forums such as this => have you (or the prospective employer) considered engaging an agent to help with the nomination and visa applications?

Best regards.

Alan, thanks for the advice sorry must have my numbers mixed up definatly off shore rsms visa. Have spoken to a couple of agents locally and both wanted to steer us towards other types of visa without answering the original question!
