hi 'iam married with 4 sons 11-18 yo no paper quals except hgv,not much dosh, oh and just turned 40 what my chances of moving to oz.got some family friends in perth. dave

Hello and welcome to poms in oz.

My other half is an HGV driver but was unable to get to oz on his skills but as Jo says it could be that in the future that HGV drivers are added to the skills list for visas. Michael has to re-take his HGV license once we are in oz as there are more categories of vehicle to drive over there. (We are going on my skills - I'm a teacher)

Sound out a few agents and see what advice they have to offer - where there is determination and perseverence (and by god you'll find plenty of that on here) there is usually a way.

ive been selfemployed a lot.ive had shops market stalls and worked as a jobbing builder but currentley a owner driver courier

Even if you were to decide not to use an agent, I think it would be worth your while getting in touch with one to discuss your options and how to proceed from here. Get it right first time kind of attitude!

Hi Welcome to PIO, like others have suggested I'd talk to an agent. Doing a visa yourself is ok if it's pretty straight forward, but the agents know all the visa's available and what you need
