Been away for a while. Its sooooooo good too be back! As of tomorrow we have got 2 wks until we make the big move to oz! Party on saturday night not sure how i feel about that.We have been living with my parents for the last 6wks.Its not been too bad but we are ready for our own space now.Oh has finished work and everything is feelin very surreal.Anyway its good to be back for a bit of support for the next 2wks. Love to hear any good last min tips.
Blimey Louise, you must be going through shed loads of emotions!
Only tips l could offer are - wear REALLY GOOD waterproof mascara and take plenty of tissues (mansize ones too), enjoy the party and take loads of piccies
I would agree with the tissues but maybe you could also take an autograph/notebook and get everybody to write messages and contact details.
This was done at a leaving party we went to last year and it was a good way of saying some things that you don't always say (hope that makes sense !) but also a good way of getting and keeping contact details all in one place. I'm sure it must be a very emotional read but I thought what a lovely idea it was.
Anyway, good luck for Saturday and I'm sure those last two weeks will fly by.

Colin & Louise,good luck for your new adventure in a way i wish it was us but hopefully not long too wait now.Guys just enjoy the party the book idea sounds good from Joanne i am taking that idea as well.Most of all enjoy the neeks 2 weeks as you wont get that back.All the best

Good luck with everything guys ,hope the goodbyes arent too bad ,the only tip i can give you is to turn your mobile off the day you leave and dont have any airport goodbyes.When everyone is sending soppy text's you cant help but get upset ,its tough on you and hard on the kids too ,luckily i managed to stop the tears before mine started asking ''why are we going mummy if its making you sad'' ,,?? ,,once your on that plane youll be fine just keep thinking of all the reasons your leaving ,,also leave an adress book with email spaces near the door for everyone to fill in .

Thanks for all your support. Will have to go and get an autograph book for the party. Do you not advise goodbyes at the airport? can't make our minds up whether to say farewell at the airport or not. it was bad enough saying goodbye to our cat who we gave to colin's brother. Anyway heres to the next 2wks. Keep drinking the wine we'll be fine!
Awwwww you must be very emotional at moment but make most of it and enjoy the attention. All the best with the big move and we may all have a huge PIO meet up when we all get there as that would be fantastic.
