Hi, I dont know what towsville is like but it will be better than Canberra!. Just wanted to Say hi, as we are from Lincoln, moved here in 2001. Where are you from in the midlands?
and how are you finding the big move?

Hi ,

Townsville is between Cairns and Brisbane , we are from Rowley Regis

the move was hard had its ups and downs , myself and my hubby love it however we have a 15yrs old son who is very homesick

We are just taking day by day at the moment and getting him to do loads , he is in the school footy team and his own team , got a job at dominos and just got a apprenticeship with Tony Ireland , so we are hoping he will be too busy to miss his family and mates

Hi we are from Rowley Regis and yes we moved to aus as a family , myself , hubby and son 15yrs .

hi again, we are living in coventry at the moment and hoping to get to brisbane with our 3 sons 11yrs 13yrs 16yrs .

Hi Shirley , to be honest he has not yet settled he gets very homesick , what i have noticed with a lot of the teens who emigrate they seem the last to settle .

We are still unsure what we doing if we are going back or not ??

Mart {son** is really giving it a go and thats all we can ask of him and hopefully he will come to love it like we do i am really proud of him , it has not been easy for him
