shipping

hi everyone,
just wondering, we are hoping to move to brisbane next year if we get the visa, we just want to know the prices for a small shipping crate just to take essentials, we have decided to get rid of all furniture and buy new on arrival, but things like hand tools essential for my trade and photo albums e.t.c would need to be shipped accross. does anybody have an idea how much this costs and the best companies to use. thank you.

Hello we used crown after speaking to cal and gary (think they get some sort of loyalty bonus lol)

We shipped two 2 seater sofas load of dive kit (and i mean a load)
fridge, freezer, baby travel system, belly cast, and all the other stuff thats normally in a two bedroom house.

and it cost us £3400 with £27500 of insurance on the contents of the container ( group insurance)
and not only do they box it all on the day the lads never stop for a break and are always on the go.
and its crown all the way through from uk to oz we are heading to bris to.

hope this helps

Piers
