due to arrive in townsville

Hi,
I am currently in the process of transfering into the RAAOC just need to sort out the visa for me and the family. Just after some info on Townsville and generally how the local guys feel about us. Looking forward to our move which should be early next year.

Hi there. My husband transferred to the ADF and we live in Victoria. My husband is working at the School of Armour. Have spoken to a few aussies here who have been to Townsville and they love it up there. The only thing that may be a problem is the humidity but I am sure it would be quite easy to acclimatise! The aussies who have come down from Townsville and Darwin find it very cold down here!

not sure about townsville i know a few people are heading out that way so will be able to answer ur questions - u could try looking in the section "Talk about queensland" or do a search will prob bring up some old posts for you
