Well, after reading loads of threads over the past few weeks, I finally got around to registering and posting one myself..and it's not as scary as I thought!
Steve and I are right at the begining of the process, we are fired up with enthusiasm, we know there is a lot of research and form filling ahead of us, we know we want to go to Oz..we just don't know whereabouts! So, any input hugely appreciated. We are just getting sorted with an agent ( after thinking we could do so without we realise we can't) so hopefully getting the ball rolling soon. Oooh, so excited!!
Our kids are 6,6 and 3 and we live in Cannock, Staffs. We look forward to replies from anyone in Oz, or not yet in Oz.

Welcome to poms, We're not in Oz yet but are in Telford so near you. Smith Tribe also on here are from Staffs near Wheaton Aston I think. We dont know where we're going yet either but hope to be there by the end of the year! Good Luck with everything.

We arn't sure where we'll end up yet either. I have the advantage of being married to an Aussie so I've been over quite a few times, stayed with his family in NSW and ACT and travelled the whole E coast from top to bottom and its really tough to decide.
I think we'll end up in Queensland, probably Cairns.
It's extra tough when you have to work out whats going to be best for the children too ( ours are 2 and 8 months)
Looking at house prices on the net has influenced our decision making big time!

Hi there,
POI is brilliant, isn't it? We are just gathering everything together for the TRA, so right at the beginning, but are also planing to go to Perth, few ideas of areas but no definates (medina, maddington, thornlie, joondalup), but likely to change several times.
Im hoping to study, OH is a cook and we have 2 kids aged 8 and 6.
