Welcome

If you know which visa class and it's skill-related I would definitely start to get bits and pieces together for your skill assessment (ie copy certificates, get any Statutory Declarations written up) This part of the process is by far the worst and generally takes the longest time to put together.

Other than that, you will have to try and be very patient, Mrs Impatient !! Even once you really get the ball rolling in a couple of years time the waiting time for visa grant is general VVVVEEEEERRRRRYYYY LOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGG

Good luck
K xx

Impatient will become famous soon enough
Visa will definitely be skill related, so will start to look into what needs to be done - thanks for the tip. Strangely as I was sorting docs today I found all my degree certs and most of the personal docs I think I will need - hooray!

Mrs I is trying not to get as excited as me (or she will be ill!), so it is just me asking questions at the moment, sorry! Will get her to log on and chat soon!
