Hi Guys

Just wondering, those already in Oz, did you book your flights direct through the airline or through a 'Flight Centre' / travel agent type thing?

Just had a quick check on-line and have been quoted £698 by signapore and £901 by emirates (quite a difference, eh?). That's for 1 adult and 1 child one way flight to Perth.

Any insight would be greatly received.

We booked ours directly with Singapore airlines

Hiya we booked via AUSTRAVEL at the time they had the best prices for us ,think it was approx 1700gbp for 4 to Brisbane with singapore airlines ,stopping in singapore for a few hours,hope this helps

Hi we have been looking at Emirates and Singapore and there does seem to be a big difference in price. We will probabaly go wth Emirates as we live closer to Birmingham airport so it will be easier with 2 kids.

We had a disk given to us the other day by a removal company (Robinsons) called Moving Planet and when you log on with a pin code you can get a discount (£200) on flights with Emirates and also 50KG baggage allowance each!

Worth having a quote from the removal company just to get the disk and access the website for the discount and extra baggage allowance.
