hi another newbie. My name is Mandy, we have our visas and we are trying to sell our house. We live in the west midlands.
We are hoping to move to Melbourne.

Good luck with your sale. The demand is still higher than properties available at the moment so hopefully you won't have to wait to long.

Congratulations on the visa's hope the house sale goes fairly smoothly for you. I am just waiting for my completion date on my house then we're off to brisbane in April hopefully.

our house has been on the market since jan and we have had only one viewing,which is dissapointing.have spoken to the estate agent .H e said its beacause we live behind a dual carriageway.The house has been decorated all through new kitchen and bathroom.dont know what more we can do only wait and wait.Its become more frustrating since we come backl from our reccie in feb .We just want to get our there.

were hoping to go to mount martha in mornington. We had a look round on our reccie and fell in love with the area.The beaches are beautiful clean and easy to get to.

Hi Mandy

We are looking at Mount Eliza as we have friends there. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, I'm sure it won't be too long. It must be very frustrating to be waiting for that, especially as you are in possession of your visas. Look on the bright side, when we get our visa's, fingers crossed, we have a legal battle to get through as our new neighbour is disputing the boundaries and wants to take some of our drive.

Oh well, like OH says, if you want something badly enough it's never easy!

Hi Mandy, it will happen before you know it and at least you've got the main thing, the visas!!
We're in Redditch, possibly not far from you??
Just waiting now for the meds and pc's and then hopefully put the house on the market. Lots if houses by us up for sale though, so expecting a wait. don't give up hope-its still only March and the Easter hols will bring people out and about.
