Newbie Moving to Perth in October.

We are moving to Perth in October later this year and are in the process of getting shipping quotes at the moment. There are four of us, me, my husband, son aged 6 and daughter aged 3.

We live in Redditch, Worcestershire at the moment and would love to hear from anyone local or not.

We went on holiday to Oz 13 years ago and we have always loved it. My husband is a chef and we also have family out there.

Mu husbands family are not best pleased about us going, my family don't want us to go but are happy for us. We can't even speak about Australia in front of his mom and dad!

Think they would be used to it by now as the whole process has taken 2 years!

Love to hear from anyone in the northern suburbs with advice on where to live.

Hi, well what a surprise!

We too also live in Redditch!! I'm a hairdresser with hubby and two girls, 11 and 9 and just had meds done today(bit down though, not feeling too hopeful-see thread)

We too would also like to go to Perth, although never been to Oz, just want to get out of here!!

by coincidence, I too have a supportive family, but like you are not allowed to even mention the A word in front of mom-i-law (hubby even has to hide all our OZ mags and books when his mom visits)

Where abouts are you? post a pm and we'll probably be not too far away!

Hi, dont come from Redditch, but we are hopefully migrating to Perth before the year is out,my hubby and two boys,and me of course .Dont know where abouts yet tho, were ever i can get a job, am a reg.nurse.Hope all goes well.
