Hi folks, this is my first post on this great website so I hope someone can pass on some info for me. My son has graduated in the UK BA and MSc and his girlfriend has been offered a very good opportunity Nursing in Townsville. Bit of a clash on the scenes, he's graduated in financials and banking (accountant) and is looking more for a city CBD position, not keen on Townsville, which we are told is very quiet compared to a major UK city, too hot, and not really a place for an ambitious 22 year old looking to start a career in the financial world. Trouble with these kids as always, their running out of time, life is passing them bye, everything must happen today!! Any suggestions advice or info will be gratefully received. (Kids, what a drama) Cheers

As I nurse I would suggest your sons partner contacting hospitals in areas she wants to work if she doesn't want to go to Townsville, I sent my CV to a hospital and had a telephone interview - unless she's on a sponsorship, she'll probably have her pick of places
