Agencies

:?: If we don't want to apply for the skills visa ourselves and wish to appoint an agency can anyone recommend one? I have looked at: Oversea Emigration Visa Ltd, Australian Migration Ass, Visa Bureau and Australian visa Specialists. We want to get this process right first time so any comments would be welcome. Thanks Helen. :P

Hi
We are using Ian Harrop and have first appointment on Wed next week.
All I can say at moment is contact we have had with them has all been positive :) and there costs seem very reasonable.
will know more after Wed.

Neil... :D

Thanks Neil, What are his costs? I would expect to pay around £1500. Which part are you looking to settle in?

Hi,

We are using Visa Bureau after some good feedback from people on here who used them.

So far they have been really helpful and their fees are £1800 +VAT for us. We are applying for a 136 visa for my husband with myself and our 6 year old son joining him.

They offer a free consultation (as most agents do I believe) and a refund if, after they carry out a full assessment , they dont think you will succeed in your application.

People on here who have used them have recieved their visa's after around 7 months!

Hope this helps and good luck!

Lou

Hi

We are using AMA, and can highly recommend, they have been helpful all the way, and no question is to silly !!!! You will have many of them as you start the process. We have paid £1800.00 plus VAT, then all the fees for the visa its self etc, (that get forwarded to Oz) but I still feel it was money worth spent. Would highly recomend.

Our fees were also 1395+vat but I think his prices have gone up a little for this yr check his web site for more info.We are looking to move to the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne preferably but it all depends on if or when a job offer comes along,if some where else then we are still open minded.

Thanks for the info, We will email him with our details. What made you choose Melbourne? I can't decide which state is for us.
