A little note to say hi, I just discovered this forum and i have to say its great. Both myself and my girlfriend both 25 are just starting the process of moving from NW England to Brisbane, so no doubt we will be pestering everybody for information of some sort. keep up the good work!

Hi, my family and i are new too and have just posted our first question. We got our case office today and it was because of all the help we got from the questions and answers i have read on the forum. Keep reading because it really is a great help.
Only one thing i did wrong i think, i didnt use a nick name like everyone else and dont know how to change it.

Congratulations on getting case-worker- another big step out of the way.
How long did it take you to get one from Adelaide receiving your visa application, also if you don't mind me asking what type of visa is it ?
We are waiting for a case-worker now. Our skilled independant visa was receipted as received at Adelaide end of October 2006. I'm champing at the bit now & becoming a bit obsessed with it all- also can't stay off this super forum- perhaps I should see a counsellor.
