hello everyone any useful advice welcome

Aftr thinking about emigrating to auz for the past two years, We yesterday started the ball rolling and paid migration expert for our new life down under. We are a family of 4 2 kids 12 and 15.
My husband is a time served plasterer but does most of his work now in the joinery side, specialist kitchen fitting and bedroom furniture. He will be coming over as plasterer but he would like to know what the work
situation is like, in probably adelaide or queensland, we dont know which place yet, and we are still trying to decide they both look nice..

any advice would be great,

what is life like there??

Hiya we choose Brisbane as it seemed to have everything we wanted ,since moving here a few month ago i can honestly say it was worth all the stress the visa process brings ,its a family orientaited place with lots of jobs in most sectors due to the amount of constuction happening. We have met lots of people mainly poms ,,seems alot of us had the same idea ,,only you can choose an area but i would definately consider Brisabne,

Carrie is on a distinguished road
Hi

Both places are nice, it depends on what type of lifestyle you want.
Adelaide is a small city, which feels more like a big town. The heat is dry, although it can get very hot there. It's got a relaxed feel to it and is easy to get around.
Brisbane is more like a big city, with big city shopping and theatre/art gallery etc. Obviously Adelaide has those too but Brisbane is a little more happening and full-on city life. However, as it's in QLD, which is sub-tropical, the humidity is high ( as in sweat pours down your legs and your make-up runs off! ).
Brisbane is located well for the Gold and Sunshine coast which are the BIG holiday destinations, it really is beach culture there!

Good luck with your decision making.

Cheers
Caroline :0)
