Hi All

I am awaiting the outcome of my visa which I hope should be forwarded to me this week before moving down under & joining the Army after 24 yrs in the British Army, that being said, I am due to be posted to Kapooka near Waga Waga NSW. I am married with 3 teenage daughters, any info on the area would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Neil, we are settling in Wagga hopefully around May/June. Hubby was over in Wagga last May and absolutely loved it, said the locals are the friendliest people he's met.
We will be looking around the Gumly Gumly area and north Wagga. From what he saw there are plenty of shopping areas and malls, cafes etc and the streets were very clean.
Hubby took a few photos of Wagga, and I will try to post them (if I can) Good luck on your move and maybe we could meet up for a coffee or red wine when we get there.
