Hi all Im new to the forum, but ive picked up some good tips from reading every one elses problems, thanks. So here is my own Im a British gas engineer & my partner and I with our young son are going through the process as a skilled migrant, but we are not sure where the work would be for me, its not as if we need central heating in OZ can any one help, Cheers Deano

I'M OUT NEXT MONTH I'M A PLUMBER HEATING ENGINEER. I'M NOT PLANNING ON DOING GAS OUT IN OZ. BUT I GUESS THAT TASMANIA MAY HAVE WET SYSTEMS. I WAS TOLD THE LAST TIME I DID MY CCN1 BY THE LECTUER THAT HIS SON WAS HAVING A WET SYSTEM FITTED IN I THINK MELBOURNE BUT I'M NOT OVER SURE IT WAS THERE. BUT WOULD'NT IT BE A GOOD BUISINNESS VENTURE INSTALLING COMBIS. BUT I'M WILLING TO CHANGE AND LEARN TH AUSSIE WAY.

We are landing in Perth then traveling round to see were we want to live not easy for every one but it's good for us.
Do you have City & Guilds or NVQ? If so they will be good enough If you need to know any more about your TRA I should be able to help.

Hi John I have got City & Guilds In Plumbing & NVQ level 3 in Gas, We are going through a company called Concept Australia they dont think i will have any problems apart from the fact I failed C & G in heating Ive been with British gas nearly five years now, but i had a break of 13 years while i was in the Navy. What do you reckon.
I was an engineer in the Navy so I will probably go back into that depending on the job situation.
