Hi Marie
You might need to say what kind of work you are in, as I'm sure the answer will be different for different jobs. Also the ages of your children - are you looking for primary schools or high schools? Most populated areas will have a choice of schools and it will depend what you look for in a 'good' school.
Generally you will find more choice of jobs in the cities, but this is also where you will find more expensive property. Think about how far you are prepared to commute and how much of a social life you want. A farm that's only forty minutes drive inland might seem like a total bargain but turn out to be totally isolated. Temperatures also usually are more extreme if you are inland as opposed to on the coast.
So much to consider! You will find lots of helpful advice on here though. Good luck with it!
