Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone would know, I've been checking prices to go to Australia in July. I didnt know if it was best to book early, or to hold out and see if there are any deals.....i know that the deals on offer now end in june, but i need to fly in july

Hi

Not too sure about flights generally, only I do know that it's the big 6 week school summer hols in July, so they always put the prices up then. I would probably book in advance and shop around to see the best deal you can get. Our big school hols over here are in Dec and jan and they put the flights up here too.

Hi Vikki,

I asked my friend, who's a travel agent with Thomas Cook, the same question. She recommended booking early via the net as fares will increase from March (due to an increase in tax). However we did need specific dates rather than being flexible.

We are going in September and booked direct with BA.COM saving about £800 on the travel agent prices!

Good luck and enjoy your trip!

Lou

THE JONEZYS will become famous soon enough
We used Travelmood as after a lot of shopping around they still came up with the best price. Even tho' we booked one way flights, they still keep sending me email updates  and one I recieved last week was a special offer with KOREAN AIRLINES, FOR EVERY TWO ADULTS A CHILD TRAVELLED FREE TO AUSTRALIA.
I don't know anything about the airline so can't recomend them BUT I would recomend Travelmood :!:
Good luck, Lesley
