Hi just want to introduce ourselves!
We are currently awaiting our medical requests, and its taken us nearly 3 years to get this far, but are at the final hurdel (hopefully)now My hubby is a carpenter and we have 3 sons aged 16, 13 and 6 :shock: We're gonna be heading for Adelaide after a short stay with relatives in Sydney and driving down over 10 days or so...our friends keep telling us we must be MAD, but hey, you only get one life and we're sure not gonna spend it being depressed!
Any ideas on how long it might be before we get our requests??

STNI received conf. 23rd Nov 05
Now we sit and wait...impatiently!
Welcome to the site, soory I can't answer you question, but like you we are also hoping to get to Adelaide ( me, wife, 16 yr old son and 3 yr old daughter.
If your on the modl list you will hopefully hear soon .we had request 4 medicals and police checks 4 months from recipet of application and visa approved 2 mnths later we hope to leave in oct 06 to syd wish you best of luck with your application
Our application was received by ASPC in November 2005, after not hearing about having our med's done by end of Dec, we made an excuse to email them, asking who our CO was, this prompted them to also ask us to go for our med's, we then received our visa by Feb 06.

Hi, Welcome to the site and the waiting game! We've been told about 4-5 months, they got our paper work on 11th April. Our agent has asked us not to hassle them, he says you're endangering your paper work to go back to the bottom of the pile!
Have fun..............you can kill loads of time on this site and in the bargain gain loads of useful info.

Hi. Well we did our own paperwork not through an agent, we also have two sets of friends who did their own paperwork, they both also emailed ASPC, with a question which also prompted both of them to be sent for there meds.

Prompting seemed to work for us too,called and emailed Adelaide wednesday after hearing nothing since receipt of application(23rd December) and "hey presto" recieved email from CO this morning requesting we have our medicals done,
